Introducing World City Brewing, a 5,900 SF new construction brewery & restaurant in Richfield, OH. The project is sited at the corner of Brecksville Road and Farnham Road and will feature an expansive outdoor green space for patrons to enjoy. The building design accentuates the split of the building program with a production bar to the north featuring a 10 barrel brewery operation and a handmade pizza kitchen. The public bar to the south is anchored by a 45’ long bar and accented by exposed wood roof structure. Natural light is brought into the core of the building with high clerestory windows which provide indirect lighting through a lightscoop element. The flexible interior dining area flows into the enclosed patio space which features large overhead doors connected to the exterior patio and greenspace.

The exterior materials further enforce the idea of the dual programs of the building; the northern production bar is clad in white cement board siding with varied textures and features the highest roof line to accommodate the production processes and screen rooftop mechanical equipment. The southern public bar is clad in black cement board with an open/glass entry. The enclosed patio space is an accent element clad in thermally modified wood slats.

The design team worked closely with the Village of Richfield on the design of the site and building exterior for this prominent site. We received approvals in the spring of 2026 and are excited to see construction starting in Fall 2026.
